pMulti level Patio
A Multi Level Patio that creates a stunning and practical outdoor area.
For this project, we worked closely with landscape designer Pip Smith to install a multi level patio featuring two distinct areas across different heights, creating a layout that is both visually dynamic and highly functional.
The multi level patio design not only adds visual interest but also enhances functionality, allowing each area to serve a specific purpose without disrupting the overall flow of the garden.
Steel steps connect the multi level patios
To connect the two patio areas, we constructed steel steps that not only serve a practical purpose but also add a sleek, modern touch to the overall design. These steps provide a sturdy and stylish transition between the levels, enhancing both accessibility and the aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space.
Limestone slim setts for a timeless look
To compliment the main paving material, we selected limestone slim setts, chosen for their durability, natural beauty, and ability to create a striking contrast in texture. These setts introduce a timeless and elegant appearance, ensuring that the patio makes a lasting impression. The subtle variation in tones and textures adds depth to the design, making the patio areas feel sophisticated yet welcoming.
Pleached trees and sloped flower beds enhance the space
To complement the structured elements of the garden patio paving, we introduced pleached trees and sloped flower beds that seamlessly transition from one level to another. The pleached trees provide natural screening, adding privacy and a refined architectural element to the garden. Meanwhile, the sloped flower beds soften the edges of the steps, integrating lush greenery with the hardscape elements for a balanced and inviting atmosphere.
A perfect blend of structure and nature
This project showcases how a patio can be both functional and beautiful, integrating structural elements like steel steps with organic features such as trees and flower beds. The result is a dynamic outdoor space that feels both open and intimate, ideal for entertaining guests or simply enjoying a quiet moment in nature.
