Our first collaborative project working with Pip Smith in Droitwich is a shining example of this commitment, showcasing craftsmanship and creativity tailored to maximise the potential of an outdoor area.
The centrepiece of the project is the stunning Millboard Enhanced Grain Coppered Oak decking, chosen for its rich, autumnal finish and remarkable durability. This premium decking not only enhances the aesthetic of the space but also ensures a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution for our clients. Its warm copper tones harmonise beautifully with the surrounding garden, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or entertaining.
Redesigning a garden for the perfect blend of relaxation and practicality
To complement the decking, we installed a seating area thoughtfully positioned to capture the best of the evening sun. Pip’s carefully designed this space to be an ideal spot for family gatherings, alfresco dining, or simply unwinding with a cup of tea at the end of the day. The open and welcoming layout ensures that the seating area becomes the heart of this transformed garden.
Adding a practical yet visually appealing touch to the design, we constructed raised beds using high-quality Larch timber. These raised beds not only define the garden space but also offer an excellent opportunity for the clients to cultivate their own vegetables, herbs, or flowers. The natural finish of the Larch complements the overall earthy tones of the project, reinforcing a seamless connection between the built and natural elements of the garden.

Another highlight of the project is the use of attractive clay pavers, which lend a timeless charm to the pathways and other functional areas. These pavers are not only visually striking but also robust, ensuring that they stand the test of time while providing a beautiful contrast to the decking and greenery.
The entire project was executed with sustainability and long-term usability in mind. By choosing materials like Larch and Millboard decking, which are known for their environmental credentials and durability, we’ve created a garden that is as eco-conscious as it is stunning.
